Anyway, I remember a story of a couple (something I had seen on TV, but I can’t remember the program) who were married and had been for sometimes and built a family together. The husband was an all-star football player in school and had the potential to go pro. But he and his wife (girlfriend at the time) were in a serious car accident and his injuries had prevented him from playing any more. He had literally blocked the entire incident from his memory. But when his memory of it came back, and he remembered that his wife/girlfriend caused the collision, there were all sorts of problems that they then had to work out.
